New apron!

I sewed this up this morning.  My favorite apron stopped fitting a few months ago and my other apron is starting to feel uncomfortable.  I made this one with a high waist to go over my bump.



Here I am looking like a big pregnant mountain.



Skirt is 3/4 yard of a stripey Alexander Henry print, pieced into 3 gores; bodice is a gathered trapazoid in green dots, a fat quarter from Jo-Ann; pink trim and ties are cotton twill tape from Treadle.



Yay!  Apron!

Ooh pretty! You know, I need an apron and it would be fun to sew a fun one like this. Are there any patterns you recommend, or do you just design your own?

I just make up my own patterns, but I get ideas from various sources.
