Sweater is done

I finished my sweater! My cherie amour.

It turned out really well. It is snug, which is good because I just know it is going to stretch and grow with wearing. I think I have been nervous in the past about too much negative ease, and then I have been disappointed by a too-large garment. It's silly; I know I want my sweater to fit snugly, so I should knit it that way!
I modified the sleeves so they wouldn't be too poofy. I cast on the specified number of sts for the ribbing (25), but then instead of increasing six just above the ribbing, I went straight into the pattern and increased about every 10th row to 35 sts. The sleeves are closely fitted to the arm now instead of belling out, but I don't think I would have gotton the smooth, graceful effect in the pattern photos, since the ribbing just fits around my wrist. Either the sample garment has much looser ribbing than mine or it has more ribbing sts than are listed in the pattern.
When sewing, I had to ease the armhole onto the sleeve. Odd. I sewed the sleeves with DMC perle cotton and a mattress stitch. Less bulky than using the knitting yarn.
I can't quite believe I made this so quickly. I am starting to feel like I can knit almost anything!
