Skirts!
Four skirts, same pattern (almost). A slightly flared skirt with front and back darts and an invisible zipper.

All have wide hems finished with a machine blind hem stitch. The orange ones have a separate hem facing while the print ones are just folded.

I made two in the orange because I ended up with so much extra fabric after cutting the first one. It’s a linen/rayon woven with a little spandex for stretch. It looks more flared because I had to take it in at the waist and hip after hemming.

I altered the pattern a bit for fit one the print ones – a linen/cotton. It has a really nice texture, but doesn’t hang quite as well as a blend with rayon. It tends to creep when I am wearing leggings. Which means that after walking about 10 steps, this happens:

Not a big deal, I just have to wear those ones bare-legged, which I was going to do anyway in summer. It limits them, but oh well.
I still need to alter this pattern a bit more. 3/8" to 5/8" needs to be trimmed from the CF all the way down, and maybe the waist could be a little higher to cover more of my pudge.

I disagree that there's pudge to cover, though.
