I'm going to do the polonaise for my Natural Form dress.  I'm just going to chop the Jacket Bodice off at the waist, sew it to the draped overskirt (with some kind of funky dog-leg closure so I can avoid a CF placket) and cover the seam with the belt, which was already part of the plan.  I've got mock-up #2 of the bodice cut out.

The underskirt is mostly made.  It needs a button and the bottom ruffle.  I decided to just end the skirt high and seam the ruffle on; that way it won't be too tight at my ankles and I'll get more flare out it when I walk.  I lined the underskirt and instead of lining the bottom ruffle, I'm going to make another, separate ruffle out of lining cotton, edged with lace, and sew it on behind.

I also made a small start on the girl's dress.  I traced and cut the Truly Victorian girl's dress pattern; way early for what I'm going for, but I have a couple 1883 pattern illustrations to guide me; I'm just using the pattern itself as a base.

Need to buy:

Fine net lace for my underskirt hem
hat trims
plain cotton for F's undies
cotton lace for F's undies
striped tights for F
