MN ren fest
Sep. 24th, 2007 08:35 amThe man and I finally went out to fest yesteday. I got to wear my new orange linen dress (Yay!!). I ran into just about everyone I hoped to, plus some poeple that I didn't realize would be there. We saw some good shows and heard some fantastic music (and I've decided once again that Mac's Pub is the best place in the entire festival). I bought a new little silver hair comb (it's pretty!).
But it was really (unseasonably) hot out, and there were more people than I think I've ever seen out there, so we left a bit early, both tired of fighting the crowds and heat and sunshine. (Sorry to everyone I said I would drop by and say goodbye to and didn't!)
I think my honeybunny's really getting excited about some new garb. Yesterday he wore the outfit I made for him about 4 years ago. It's still okay, I guess, but I am a better seamstress now and I know I can do something better for him.
Of course, I'm dumb and I didn't take any photos. I wasn't really in a picture-taking mood. We had a really good time, though, and I'm so glad we went. Next weekend is the last weekend. I'm amazed at the speed at which time passes.
