corset again

It seemed like it might have been a little tight in the bust, but I think that's better than being too loose, as it will stretch and she said it felt fine. It had a nice even 3 1/4" lacing gap (I tend to like a large gap).
I went to Treadle yesterday after realizing I didn't have a single thing to lace the corset with, not even an old shoelace for a fitting. I found some really lovely, fine, tight, cheap cotton twill tape. Got 8 yards each of 1/4" wide in black and white for about $5. Who knew they had that? It's tucked away next to the elastic, under the shoulder pads (obvious now why I never found it).
Today I will cut the corset binding and attach it, and hopefully come up with a working mock-up for my pirate jacket bodice.
