What's ahead
Mar. 24th, 2014 08:39 amI have no more sewing deadlines for awhile, and I feel so liberated!
I've already decided that Costume College is not in the cards for me this year, and my events for the rest of the year are a picnic in June, the Ren Faire in Sept, and the January Ball. I will probably re-wear my curtain dress for the picnic, so I won't need the next new big thing until September.
I really hope to fill up the intervening time with modern Spring stuff for me and The Girl, and maybe a simple quilt I've been daydreaming about. I also want to finish at least one of my HB's two half-made suits.
I'm also dreaming of new costumes for Sept., and finally starting to make pinboards with some determination. Finally on the Pinterest bandwagon!
I have a hundred ideas bouncing around in my head for projects: sweaters to knit, embroidery, stuff for the house, new dresses. It's hard not to be overwhelmed by ideas and paralyzed with indecision. I suppose this is why I used to have a list. But I feel SO much better without one.
