Organizing my thoughts.
Now that I have done all the prep for the undies class and we've had the first session, I can cross it off my list. The rest of the class is just me showing up to work and teaching.
The next thing that really needs to get done is Mooncoin capes and retro fitting the dresses to make attachment points. I feel lost on this one. I have a book of Celtic design motifs with directions for drawing out your own, I have fabric, I have cord. And I get paid for this job. But ugh, it is just not looking appealing! There are eleven to make and they are due August 8.
I would really like to finish the Amy Butler quilt top before I shift gears. It doesn't feel like a loose end ufo when the top is all pieced and pressed and done, even if it's not quilted yet, but a stack of quilt blocks in the progress pile makes me antsy.
In some ways I am so glad costume college is not on my agenda this year. I have enough to do already! Then I can focus on next year and make it awesome.
