Sewing bee
Nov. 14th, 2015 09:33 pmThings I plan to bring to the costumers' sewing bee tomorrow morning:
- Muslin and pattern to mock up a new winter coat for myself. I'll cut and sew this at the sewing bee and do the fitting later at home.
- Muslin and pattern to mock up 1860s pants for my HB. I have some neat wool plaid, just barely enough to squeeze pants out of, and it's been a few years so I want to be perfectly sure of the pattern before I cut.
- The dotted swiss LWD. I set this aside when I got sick and overwhelmed before costume college, and even though I don't have any deadline or event coming up, I am sick of unfinished projects hanging around. It would be nice to finish it and get it out of the sewing room. Might bring my Regency stays along too just in case.
- Supplies for the kids felt sewing class I am doing with The Girl in the afternoon.
- Snacks!
