Backyard photoshoot

I somehow decided I had an hour on my hands today to play dress-up. Here's my (totally hand-sewn!) Curtain-Along dress, finished!

I wish I had a sweeping, picturesque backyard for nice photos, but this is what you get when you live in a city. Still, the light was quite nice today! The hat was a total last-minute addition; I grabbed it from the closet in the dark, which is why I neglected to find a hatpin and I'm holding it with my hands.
The lacing ribbon got a bit twisted, and I'm not sure what to do about the slight creep where my lacing goes higher than my stays.

I was actually able to use the pressing ham to coerce that elbow dart into a pretty smooth roundness.

Love the tails in back! I seamed the CB all the way down because I liked that better than the split in the original.

Not sure which printed scarf I like best with it. The brown is matchier, but the pink is, well, pink!

And here's a front view with no accessories.

Of course, someone wanted to help! And try on the hat.

I didn't mind.
