elizabeth_mnMan, this project is taking forever! I feel like I've been working on this for years. But today I finished the binding (finally!) and now I just need to do buttons and buttonholes on the straps and I think they will be done.
I couldn't resist putting them on and checking them out.
Those tabs were really a pain, and I don't think I see much point to them anyway; they don't really spread out as I thought they would. Oh well. I'm pretty pleased with them, my first 18th c. project!

I don't have a proper chemise or shift and anyway after I finished the binding I was way too excited to change clothes before trying them on!
I don't know why my posture looks so tilted in the bottom right photo, I didn't think was leaning. I wonder, is it supposed to make me stand like that?
