bits and pieces

Bought some knit for The Man's hose (poly/rayon blend, but at this point I don't really care that much) in a warm grey color that sort of goes with the other fabrics.  He seems to like it.  It's a heavier weight, which he wanted for (I suppose) modesty reasons.  Though it kind of begs the question, if wool cut-cloth hose would have been too hot, why is poly-blend double knit okay?  

Anyway, I plan to serge up a pair and then move on to better things.  

I've also got that red & white Amy Butler print dress together.  It's at about 60% now, needing hem, neck facing, and sleeves.

Made 3 pair of summer pants for The Girl, out of remnants from the stash (yeah!).

Mocked up the rayon dress for the work display and fitted it, decided I needed to size up, cut out the pattern in a bigger size. I want to finish the red/white cotton dress before cutting this one out in the real fabric, though.

I've also pulled the fascinators out of the closet and brought the finished ones into work for examples for anyone interested in taking the class.  I need to finish the other 4 (one just needs trimming) and set up a nice display.
