projects that need to be made

So now that the Breeches That I Spent Forever On are almost done, I need to make the rest of the picnic costumes.
HB's vest is going to be cake; I have a well-fitting pattern already and nice fabric. For buttonholes I will probably just use the machine again because I'm really not willing to slow myself down right now.
HB's shirt will be basic but I know I am slow when I get picky about clean seam finishes. A new shirt would be really nice for him, but this will probably be the last thing I make, just in case time runs out. His old shirt is not as nice but it would do.
I need to make sure I devote the most time to the coat. Frankly, the breeches are a more complex garment, but I just can't rush through another coat for him.
I have barely started my dress, but I sewed the mock-up yesterday and today I will get the stays on and try it. Since it laces over a stomacher I think I have some leeway in the fit. I might do a new bum-pad before making the skirts, or I might just wear my padded petticoat.
Then there is the small person's dress. I ordered an 18th century girl's gown pattern and as usual, the dress will be full of cheats. I'm making it out of one of those block-printed Indian tablecloths I got years ago at Ten Thousand Villages.
This would not seem like so much if there weren't also work, childcare, chores, garden season starting, and this vague sort of spring restlessness. I have maybe 5-6 weeks to do this? Wish me luck and remind me to stay off the computer!
