I did a fitting this morning

Still held together with pins, but it's looking like a dress!

I apologize for the crappiness of the photos, I was in a hurry - I still want to finish this for the weekend!

This underskirt is almost too pretty to cover up!

Those are my 1770s stays - this is where I will lose the authenticity purists, if I haven't already.  I think it's an improvement - I used to wear my Victorian corsets.

Things left to do:

Hem everything : Underskirt, overskirt

Finish bodice: gaurds, hooks/eyes, attach skirt, finish edges (bias binding), sleeve tie loops, tabs on shoulders if time

Sleeves: attach ties, buttons/holes, hem ends.

I think I can manage that in a day and a half.
