 I sewed through my left index finger this morning.  It's not very deep, just went through the very tip, but it still hurt and was extra frustrating because today I finally decided that a cut was healed on the finger next to it (I cut it with a knife last week while cooking) and I was so glad to be rid of the annoying band-aid.  Now there's kind of a shallow chunk missing from the tip of my finger.  Oh, and I'm all out of fingertip band-aids.

Before that, I hemmed the red silk underskirt.  I used the machine blind hem stitch and I think it looks pretty nice.  I haven't done anything else for the dress today besides look at my notes and contemplate stuff.  I'm kind of bummed now, though, so maybe I will do some of the finish work tomorrow.  We're planning on going to the fest on Sunday so technically I have one more day to finish.

Owie! I've done that and it really hurts! My fingernail on my left index finger grows kind of funny because of that. There's your fun fact of the day.I hope it heals quickly!
